This piece was created with ink on top of collaged maps from 1959. These maps were collected by a family member and hold sentimental value to me. The animals in this piece reflect the life journey from adolescence, adulthood and into old age. You will find innocence in the fawn, protection from the wolf and accepting vulnerability from the hawk as the limb supporting the hawk is held by the wolf. The framing is in the signature style that I use for all of my work. The piece comes with wire ready to hang, and the dimensions are 20"-25." Attached to the back is an uplifting message that tells a little bit more about the piece.
